Does Code Vein have bonefire warping? It's my pet peeve in the soulslike genre.
something that is completely unintrusive and optional to engage with 99% of the time is your pet peeve?
>>724330742nta, but it makes games feel more adventure like. Dark Souls 1 is full of dogshit levels, but it feels like an adventure because you can run to the bodega for supplies every five seconds
>>724330742yeswarping is a crutch for bad level designDaS1 got it right (for the first half)
>>724330630It has it, and the game is only partially interconnected. There’s also long loading zones with no enemies between places that do connect. If DS1’s design is your favorite part of these games, then I would probably avoid this one. It’s more combat focused than the Fromsoft games. It’s an anime action RPG before a soulslike.

>>724332023This, but unironically. Triumph of level design.
>>724331950>>724332023Is this from code vein? If not, is cathedral the name of the game?
>>724332126yeah it's from code veinan actual masterpiece in level design
>>724332126It's name is Anor Londo and it's shit
>>724332239retard
>>724332175I see this sentiment every time the game comes up, and I'm starting to think people actually do really like the level, which is odd because it's an absolute nightmare.
>>724332410Learn to use glowsticks and beacons.
>>724332984Does being able to navigate it well make it 'an actual masterpiece in level design' though?
