There is one particular autist obsessed with shitposting about the turn speed or lack thereof, and while he’s a sperg I can sympathize a little. In the older games your AC controls a lot more like a heavy combat vehicle than a man with a jetpack like in gens 5 and 6. The good news is, all of the games up to Last Raven are super easy to emulate, and gen 4 isn’t too bad to set up either. If you can only play one, my personal recommendations are Last Raven and For Answer. But personally, I think playing AC3 and Silent Line back to back is the best experience you can get.
