IIRC DisGAYa 4 would also crash constantly if you left the "online mode" on that let you connect to other players for Item World bullshit or whatever, and of course there's no mid battle save or safety autosave so you could be in the middle of a long dungeon and just lose all progress. I also remember 4 or maybe it was 2 had another issue that would cause it to not load past the intro screen something like 80% of the time unless you disabled a setting. Problem is that setting would sometimes randomly turn itself back on. So you'd have to launch and relaunch the game until you got the right RNG to get into your game and turn it off. What the fuck is wrong with the dev team at this company anyway?

If you want to play 100% optimal then you should be simply rushing through the story as fast as possible. Generally there are story maps that are blatantly there for grinding, with convenient XP multiplier geopanels to take advantage of. These are orders of magnitude more efficient for leveling than just going through the item world haphazardly. If you don't care about optimization, just do whatever seems fun.

So that's a 50% multiplier at level 10. Say you level a Bronze Sword to 10, the attack will go from 19 to 28.5. If you get a Level 1 Ninja Sword (2 tiers later, exactly as I said) it has an attack of 34. So your level 10 sword has been outclassed. In other words, your time is better spent simply speeding through the game and occasionally upgrading your weapon as new tiers start becoming available.
