Wilds is so terrible that it tainted the reputation of the series in both the east and the west. It is a permanent blotch on the history of this IP and ruined crapcom's efforts to make the west like MH. Even the capcultists will hesitate before spending ~$70-100 for their next MH release. It's just an uphill battle going forward for every MH game that is to come.
