I think the funny part is they added all this wacky zany bullshit and all the crossovers, but the game still tries to emulate some degree of immersion and realism by adding a whole bunch of nonsensical screen shake and weird animations. How come in any other shooter I can get snappier ADS and movement that actually feels like I'm playing a fast paced shooter, but in CoD everything has a bunch of useless fluff attached to make the game feel like shit. I swear MW3 was the last time the shooting model and gun response felt right. Maybe give it a pass all the way to Ghosts, but everything afterwards just doesn't feel good. Meanwhile BF has stayed the same throughout except for that one moment where they completely fucked everything with 2042 and somehow made it worse over its lifespan.
