Dead Patient released all the way back in 2013 and hasn't gotten an ounce of news besides it's "still being worked on". Corpse Party's other sequel, Darkness Distortion has been delayed by 2 years and had its physical US copy cancelled.
It is no secret 5pb/MAGES has been on the cusp of bankruptcy and it's highly unlikely the new CoPa will help litigate their financial troubles.
