I never got in to it unfortunately. Thought the combat brainless lock-on capeslop button mash and I dont see the point of a lord of the rings game without exploration / story and soul. i didnt get very far though

The combat is satisfying but unfortunately playing through the story felt like a slog to play through.
The first time I played through it I didn't mind, but when I wanted to replay it again I got reminded of the dull, boring plot and stopped. Excellent combat sometimes isn't enough to stay engaged.

Invasions in Shadow of War were really fun until you got to the higher levels where every captain can one shot you from across the map and have immunities to everything.
