What are some unexpected winter cozy games Anonymous 10/27/25(Mon)17:13:10 No.724345276 Archived

I’m fully aware this is a 7/10 decent but not great game. But there’s something about it, maybe the claustrophobic nature of the gameplay that just makes it a nice “snowed in” winter game.

I’m looking for some other recs like this; just cozy games where you can vibe through the cold weather outside

So I bought Chronos and tried playing it yesterday and damn if I can’t see SHIT playing it on an OLED and gaming PC. I played silent Hill 2 remake and liked it and want to support bloober on this one too but damn was it hard to see anything at all.

I’ll give it another shot but they need better brightness settings

yeah, and changing the gamma makes it so milky. you can use reshader, can find a mod for it on Nexus
I was surprised by Cronos, its definitely not perfect. but a solid entry I thought

As someone who played the original SH2 in 2003, and recently played through the remake, you’re wrong. You’re just plain wrong.

I’ve been thinking about it and I honestly think the remake actually is the superior experience. It’s absolutely oppressive and like living through a nightmare, and I realized that even with lots of bullets and healing items I was still on edge constantly.

Plus the voice acting finally fits the serious nature of the game.

I’m sorry that makes you seethe uncontrollably, but SH2 Re is the better experience. And I’ll do you one better and even go so far as to say that RE4 Re is also the superior experience.

And Dead Space Re is DEFINITELY the superior experience. Deal with it.
