Not really, I often had quite conflicting opinions, for example one thing I clearly remember is every gaming magazine was shitting hard on Dune 2000 because it was literally just Dune 2 but with a bit modernized controls. Except that's exactly what they advertised the game for, and that's what I expected from it, that's what I got from it, and had fun with it, so I never understood why the entire industry collectively decided to shit on that particular game, it was weird as fuck.
