>welcome back gunvolt 3
It even has dogs and traps.
>>
>>724357249
idk what to think of it
i like the bow
>>
Why cant they make a game that plays like megaman Zero, are they too prideful for that
>>
>>724359262
They already made MMZ.
>>
why does it feel like inti just getting more and more degenerate and weird. what happened to them just making cool nes throwbacks, mega man and castlevania-adjacent games.
>>
>>724359631
So make it again
>>
>>724359664
they've always been shameless, you're just upset that the lewd bookarts they publish aren't full of the trannies you love and worship

eat shit and die, faggot
>>
>>724359664
This game in particular is the pet project of the Blaster Master Zero artist, who... well...

>>
>>724359708
gv3 plays kind of like zero
>>
>>724359789
not a true fan. you're a revisionist faggot. inti used to have standards.
>>
Really enjoyed the demo, excellent presentation and the core mechanic feels like a solid translation of Zandatsu to 2D. Hope the later stages really make you utilize the constellation forms more so that the difficulty curve of the weak starting form into them is smooth throughout.

>>724359664
They're ex-90s Capcom, of course they're horny. They made Mega Man to pay the bills but they were making weird new IPs before and after that point; their 2nd-ever game was a dating sim/mech action hybrid.
>>
>>724359942
surely you can acknowledge there's a big difference between those designs and what's going on in this or card en ciel
>>
>>724359708
Even when they were still in the Capcom mines they didn't want to make more MMZ, why would they do it now?
>>
>>724360128
First time Ive heard that story.
>>
>>724360128
But they wanted to make Zx3, so how's that?
>>
>>724360085
Card-en-Ciel was pretty tame.
>>
>>724360162
zero 3 was the ending but capcom said "ok where's zero 4" so they killed him
>>
>>724360243
I was talking more they make games like MMZ gameplay wise not story wise
>>
>>724360162
They kind of wanted to stop at Z3, Capcom asked for more, they thought of doing Z1.5, but Capcom asked for a sequel and they made Z4 as final as they could.
But they realized they wanted to keep going, so ZX happened.
>>
>>724360186
So weird janky experimental MMZ?

Any day now.
>>
>>724359664
Are you forgetting about Gal*Gun? Inti was always degenerate, even their "normal" stuff has fanservice like Kanna in Blaster Master Zero.
>>
>>724359904
nice.
pre-ordered the collector's edition.
>>
>>724359904
So its an apology for the Ix2 DLC situation?
>>
I liked the style of the demo but the controls seem too slow and simplistic
>>
>>724359664
>getting more and more degenerate and weird.
>the people who made Card En Ciel with the game ideas that they can't make anymore because no platform would allow them like a Kusagi Tactical Shooter.
>>
game isnt out yet you negro you tricked me
>>
>>724359664
You DO know that they hired their favorite loli artist to make Magaman Zero?
>>
>>724357249
i was hopeful because i love GV3 and i think making a more mechanically complex, diverse version of that would be cool. it's obvious though that they have no idea what they're doing. there's no calculated game design, just shit that seems like it would be cool. the last solid action platformer they put out was the first gal guardians. i don't know what happened but it's crazy how fast their output declined after GV3
>>
I didn't like the demo, the movement felt really sluggish and shitty I guess to compensate for how quickly the slash attack launches you around the screen but just mashing that move endlessly felt brainless. I didn't even feel like I had the mobility to actually line up the different types of dash attack despite that being the central mechanic of the game, I had to either wait for the boss to put themselves in the right orientation or just only do the charge version that ignores the mechanic anyway.
>>
>>724363836
when you devil trigger you can double jump like kirin and when you devil trigger during your devil trigger you get gunvolt infinite air dash movement
so the first screen is just farming points for the transformation which you need to stay in all level
>>
>>724356595
i tried the demo, but i didn't care for it. felt way too gimmicky, and more style over substance

That's the whole point though. You either position yourself properly or leave yourself stationary and defenseless for about 1-2 seconds to charge the triple, that's the whole tradeoff.

Each transformation seems to have different abilities and cost different amounts of meter to activate too. The yellow/diagonal one gives you arrows instead of your sword while the blue/horizontal one gives you a buzzsaw-style midair attack while leaving your grounded sword moves unchanged but lets your horizontal airdashes count as slashes. I hope there's more than three but that might be a bit more wishful thinking than I should muster; regardless I really like the system since you do need to build up and maintain your meter to keep the busted 2nd level of each install active (though I hope later levels are such that you might need to burn one out and build up to another for the boss).
>>
>>724365928
yeah there's some interesting choices in which one to use. i was surprised you just lose your normal attacks for new ones.
cycling transformations on the wolf boss felt extremely anime in the way they've been trying to pull off since gunvolt 1. the blade clashes and finishers are putting work in too
>>
>>724366471
The 2nd demo boss really carries the whole thing, I loved how much was going on to keep it pretty fresh, and you needed to at least try on the prior level if you wanted to be in 2nd install for most of it.
