If you pirate from the people offering DRM-free games and they end up suffering financially or even end up shutting down because of it while the DRM'd stores are going strong, that will be a massive loss for the anti-DRM movement. But copying files isn't theft. I have every right to copy a GOG installer to a disc and sell it to a friend. They are paying for the disc and the files, the same thing someone does when they go to a retro game store and buy an xbox or gamecube game. They are selling the game files and the disc to another person.The owner company who made the game still has the original, there's no damage to the original property and no harm was commited. By definition it's not theft.
