The combat is more about defeating a lot of opponents quickly than it is about defeating skilled opponent 1-on-1 though. There's so much broken shit nowadays that most confrontations boil down to just getting the jump on people to steal points from them, but you can still find some of what made it great by learning how to use your resources efficiently to both catch opponents and seal their burst with a gumbind without being caught yourself. Like the other anon mentioned, the limited-time zone control mode tends to be most fun because you actually have to fight in that one. Still full of P2W abusers and broken shit though, can't imagine a new player trying to deal with all that.
