So with the korea guy blazing blitz 2 even a year after its release, and rainbow 3 or whatever also getting some praise from him, I'm now curious if there are any news of blitz 3 on the horizon or what? Also what could be any new features for blitz 3? ergonomic changes to back buttons? Will it get lower bluetooth latency?I'm now trying to look stuff with less than 20ms of bluetooth latency. I tried playing Splatoon 3 with gyro on V4P and had quickly revert back to ES Pro because of how big the latency of V4P was for some reason. It's a real shame because I was starting to grow fond of the ergo of V4P, seeing how it doesn't have "triggers" that hurt your fingers when you hold it (like ES Pro does), and it might be slightly better ergo that Cyclone 2. Like here's a controller that's pretty good save for lack of TMR sticks, but it has terrible bluetooth latency which makes it no-go for online gaming on switch.

Wasn't Gulikit TT Max supposed to get release or announcement this month?

>>724421271>The buttons on the pro 3 or whatever feel like shitidk if you like membrane they should be good. Only difference I think is that it's flat buttons, I this I preffer the more rounded buttons of ultimate 2 or Tar Pro, but it's subjective thing. Though I guess you're right on one thing, Pro 3 is not going as deep into the modular stuff as some other controllers. Maybe they could've included different style face buttons and higher regular sticks or something. Then there's ZD's controllers are ultra modular, but that's taking things too far

>>724420491This controller is so gorgeus and spicy. X Elite ergo with symmetrical stick layout... more manufacturers need to do crazy stuff like this
does switch 2 pro controller work on PC yet
>>724439208Idk I haven't tried. For basic rpgmaker games I just used 8bitdo wireless 2c , and for switch I have both bt version of 2c and non-2c ultimate 2. I guess there are better controllers for PC too, but I don't play on PC much right now so haven't cared too much. If I did then apex 5 or beitong kunpeng 70 with their adaptive triggers + haptic feedback would be way to go. Why do you wanna use switch 2 pro controller specifically, isn't ps5 or xbox elite s/x controller better in every way?
>>724439581Mainly hoping it goes hand in hand with the recent Gulikit controllers functioning properly on Bluetooth Switch mode. If I want gyro on PC with Elves 2 I have to use wired Switch mode, Bluetooth is nonfunctional and spams inputs that interact with Windows menus so I assume it spoofs Switch 2 Pro Controller wirelessly and Switch 1 wired.
>>724440057Have you checked some vids on youtube or something? I'd test it but I'm too lazy to attach the wireless antenna to my mobo, since it has very short cable. Basically it's almost impossible for me to use dongeless wireless devices on my desktop PC, because the wireless antenna is annoying to deal with
2025 coty?
>>724441831This one also works in symmetrical layout, if you have the symmetrical faceplate? I guess it's one of the better modular controllers since you can swap different stick types and facebuttons. Like someone keeps obsessing about alps.. well good news I think you can just swap alps to this.. and then there's 2-3 different TMR types you can use or something, in-case you happen to like the feel of one of them more over the other. I think it gets points deducted from the diamond d-pad, because while it looks good, I've heard it's not as good/practical than when it's used with the other "less unique" d-pad styles it comes with
T3 Lite showing weird behavior, not sure if its firmware problem of latest fw or what. Basically some trigger starts turboing when I turn the controller on. I think I managed to clear it once with button combination for function reset, and other time by un-turboing a trigger, but new firmware made it so the function reset combination no longer works, or at least I couldn't get it to work on pc. I don't know wtf is going on, but if I have the controller attached to PC it will no lomger go to auto-sleep on newest firmware version. Gamesit has been having QC problems lately with that new controller, and it seems the problems are also affecting other products now. Basically brand new t3 lite i had encounter with this turbo problem (mightve come with newest fw pre-installed, not sure), and then when I patch fw on my older t3 lite it too is now having this problem that it wont go auto-sleep on PC anymore, and function reset combo no work. I hope GameSir upcoming refresh stuff is good, but holy shit they need to work on QC
>>724419770>I'm now trying to look stuff with less than 20ms of bluetooth latency. I tried playing Splatoon 3 with gyro on V4P and had quicklydo wireless niggers really
>>724444382ES Pro is pretty good bluetooth latency wise. Cyclone 2 is also not too bad. But then if I try using Tarantula Pro, I have to take a more casual singleplayer game, cause there's no way to use Tar Pro in a competitive setting afaik, since it has high latency. So I was playing singleplayer games for 2-3 months, controllers like v4p and tar pro are all good, but the moment I jump to splatoon I notice hmm.. maybe this online game might be too fast paced for the latency of controllers like v4p and tar pro, so now I have become more conscious of what kind of controllers to be on the look out for. Well truthfully I wasn't even thinking too much about latency stuff (since i was mostly playing single player games) until 2-3 weeks ago when gulikit ES Pro and Elves 2 arrived to me. Both top tier controllers for me now, I didn't think I would be hooked to S2 wake up feature (since I have mine arm's length away from me, don't even need to use S2Pro as "remote"), but here I am now picking these two controllers more often than any other, and it's probably because of lower latency for online games, and switch 2 wakey wakey function.
>>724419770Is there a third party controller that has flat buttons and sticks just like the switch pro?
>>724444887Is switch 2 pro controller considered flat? That could be oneI guess my flattest is 8bitdo pro 3. If I were you I'd just watch ton of controller review vids or something and skimp ahead until you see them talk about facebuttons and stuff or something. If you're going to use with PC, between those two I'd probably go with Pro 3 because it at least comes with dongle, so it doesn't require bluetooth for PC you just either attach the dongle to PC or entire recharge dock on PC. If you do both PC and switch I guess you can keep the dock connected to PC and when it wakes I assume it automatically connects to PC, and then you just turn a switch on the bottom of the controller to make it switch 2 mode. Though not sure of the compatibility of different features in different modes (on pc) some have filed complaints about those. But the fact it comes included with a charging dock+dongle is a big plus imo
ok taking a closer look, maybe T3 Lite is flat.. you could try that one too if you want, it's cheap. The d-pad is crap tho lol .. oh and it's wired only
>>724444887look at mobapad controllers.
>>724419770I have a Blitz 2, button rubber failed in less than a year of mild use, pic related. They refused to refund me or provide me with a spare part (that I was willing to purchase), ended up doing a chargeback.
>>724444178Are you able to roll it back to the previous firmware? Not sure if it's the newest, but last update I saw mentioned was to prevent the controller from falling asleep on PC so you don't have to unplug+replug it.

>>724447523oh shit I got the recommended controllers mixed up my bad
>>724447307hmm interesting, thanks for sharing I may have to keep this in mind if I end up reverting it to older version. I like that it's nice ergo controller, and the design is cool old school ps1 controllers (either grey or white), but the d-pad admitedly leave "much to be desired". Oh and while I've managed to overcome most of it, it being a wired controller is also a con. 8bit Wireless 2c has much less headache overall since it's no wire

The d-pad of elves 2 is so cool, I wish more controllers had that d-pad
>>724448249I really hope we get TT Max soon, because that one should have similar style d-pad as elves 2 (actually it has many different removable d-pads).
>>724448249My favorite d-pad is the X05, I think I like it even more than the Gamesaar Tegenaria.
>>724425934>-0.03What, the controller now reads the future?Should I buy the Ultimate 2C or 2 Wireless? Best d-pad of the two?Best d-pad for below 50?
>>724448647best d-pad for below 50? It's either ES Pro or Elves 2 imo. I'd say ES Pro for fighting games, and Elves 2 for everything else/general gaming. I haven't done extensive testing so I could be wrong but that's the gist I'm getting and how I treat them. The disc shaped d-pad introduced by xbox elite style controllers (and in vader controllers) is good for fighting games, but I can't find enjoyment using it extensive amount of times on "other games" (since it's a bit stiff) , but the more loose saturn d-pad of elves 2 is better for general gaming. But like I said I haven't been doing any extensive testing, or played any platformers that require precision so I'm not 100% sure but this is the gist I currently have
>>724426702you just know..
>>724448647That chart's relative to wireless Switch Pro as the baseline. Negative simply means it's faster than the Switch Pro's response time. Which is a low bar, but on the Switch nothing really passes it meaningfully.
How's swapping between triggers and bumpers on 8bitdo Pro 3? It's a killer feature for me, but it sounds like something that can feel pretty bad, and I can't try it first because I have to order one to do so.
>>724449969nta but I think problem with this chart is that there are alot of controllers on that list on "wired" mode. Theoretically you can do it with an externally powered USB-hub attached to Switch, but come on nobody is going to use wired controllers on switch it's just not happening. And also the latency, I'm not exactly sure if the bluetooth stick latency is 15 or 20 on spro2 , and while that doesn't sound great, you realize its' actually pretty low latency bluetooth latency compared to most of third party controller, since there are many controllers with 40-80ms of bluetooth latency (like tar pro, apex 4, even v4p on splatoon 3 was so laggy on gyro aiming that I had to switch to es pro in 3 seconds after trying it out, but I'm not sure on v4p if it was gyro not responsive enough or if it's indeed bluetooth latency related)Like honestly while it's cool chart I don't think it has a point, because switch pro controller isn't exactly "spectacular" so I don't exactly see why you'd want to use it on PC either, I've just come to accept that both xbox and ps have far lightyears better/superior "default" controllers than Switch platform, so even if this was a test concluded for someone trying to use switch controller on PC, it'd still be retarded. This is like numbers that don't have place in reality lol , at least not with the context that'd presented/provided with the chart
>>724450095I haven't done it personally, so I don't know if there's a button combination to do it on the fly. I'm also not sure of the compatibility, so the picrel prolly best info you can find on compatibility. What I do know that there's software that lets you create 3 different custom profiles that can be stored in the controller memory (and 4th profile default profile that can't be edited so 4 total) and you can swap to different profile with press of a button. And in software you can have different swaps for these different profiles. That's assuming there isn't some button combo that lets you do it on the fly, I haven't checked the manual.Swap L2 and R2Swap left and right sticksSwap d-pad and left stickThere doesn't seem to be a "swap" for the bumpers (I'm assuming that means the L1 and R1) but I assume you can just map L1 to R1 and vice versa for some profile and do it that way. 1 default uneditable profile + 3 custom profiles you can do what you want.
>>724450919I'm sorry if my post was too vague. I am talking specifically about those little switches that turn L2 and R2 from analogue triggers into regular digital buttons.
>>724451038Do you want to know about the locking mechanism itself, or the feel what it has once it's locked? I'm not sure if I'm good judge to tell if it's good or bad when it's locked (since I mostly game with analog triggers in "unlocked" position), but the the locking mechanism itself should be good in Pro 3. I don't know if there are any other "bad" locking mechanisms, than the one in Cyclone 2 style where the lock is on the trigger itself and/or it's so small you need to use nail to switch the lock. Any lock that's either easy to access or is on behind of controller itself is usually good on most controllers I would imagine.
If you need to be able to switch it in combat or something, then Vader 4 Pro has easier lock to cycle between, since it seems slightly softer and is larger/slightly better positioned for fast switching
I went back to the dualsense. there’s no substitute.
>>724452059I imagine apex and kunpeng 70 might be able to do some of the dualsense stuff in some of the games. I think they both have similar haptic feedback motor and adaptive triggers as dualsense does. It's actually one of only things differentiating Apex from Vader series I think, because other than that motor and adaptive triggers vader is better controller overall, you can stiffen it so quickly and all without the need of tool, and it has 6 face buttons which might be useful for some users. V5P in particular is looking to close the gap between apex and vader as much as possible, since it's now also getting extra shoulder buttons. I think it means other than the motor feedback and those triggers there's not much else going for apex.. but maybe those are good features?
>>724432849when you move the stick the right side moves slower than the left side. they're also not linear and they all slow down when you get to the edge. alps sticks dont have this issue.
>>724453738I think some anons have said that this stuff doesn't really matter that much in actual gameplay, or that it's barely noticeable. It's certainly not something that's going to keep alps relevant if that's what you're hoping. Why yes I'm sure they can do that too if you want and they'll keep charging you extra for part that breaks, but is that really what we want?
>>724453808yes im sure the stick not moving the same speeds when you're aiming left vs aiming right isn't noticeable. just like 20 ms of latency isnt noticeable. of course it's not noticeable if you're shit and retarded.
>>724453738Except alps does have that issue. monoru himself measured and said that both Dualsense and Dualsense Edge have less stick sensitivity to the right. GameSir Cyclone 2 is the only controller he showed results for that had properly even left/right output.
>>724453870>yes im sure the stick not moving the same speeds when you're aiming left vs aiming right isn't noticeable.Yes because there needs to be context for the data, just zooming in on data doesn't give big picture. I could make a graph zooming very close to 1mm and make big graphs showing how much different there's between 1mm and 1.000000002mm , but that would not matter when the context is 10cm or something. Basically the context needs to be realistic and something that's noticeable otherwise it's not very useful data. If you can't notice this thing in A/B blind test then it's not that useful. Will you be able to do blind test with he/tmr vs alps blitz 2 or zd o+ / ultimate legend? I think those are some controllers (if you buy two different pairs of them) where you can do A/B test, provided you don't actually know from visual glance which one is which. That's ultimately the only thing that really matters, if you can tell them apart in blind test
