Their meeting with Kuzunoha felt kinda pointless[/spoiler] but I like the plot twist of how they used Shuro. The cartoon kitty was a very BA like thing to do. And the plot twist with the Ninja Club hit just right. But the conversation that Snek and Kokuriko had at the end didn't make much sense. Kokuriko was almost indiferent to the fact Shuro had turned on them, but she snapped at Snek for badmouthing Shuro. It sorta makes me thing Shuro might be Kokuriko's daughter.The duel was alright. The serious tone juxtaposed with the chibi models reminded me of the final fight on Volume 4. I'm also not sure about what Niya told Snek, about how the festival themselves had meaning beyond profit.
