I've played and enjoyed the remakes of 2, 3 & 4. I will never play the originals. The remake of 1 is mediocre, and the whole game needs to be remade from the ground up. RE 7 & 8 are good.

Please tell me it's not just me and 5's enemies are tanky as fuck in Veteran. I'm playing it for the first time and I thought that playing it on a higher difficulty wouldn't give me so much problem, but enemies like dogs and the plagas eat way too many bullets and the chainsaw guy would just refuse to die. I just finished the Gigante fight (or whatever they call it now in 5) and it was a miserable mission, I died for the first time in my whole playthrough three times.

>>724443446I'm treating the game as a resource manager. I always keep Sheva properly loaded, I gave her the machine gun and give her all the herbs so she can heal me when I'm in danger. I'm upgrading as best as I can but it always feels like I barely get any money to do so even after selling all the treasures, which are very scarce. Also, the bosses so far have been very ass, and who the fuck even thought that having one of the quick time events should be mapped to F + V? I'm considering switching to controller to see if I fare better, but mouse aiming is too good to leave. It just feels way inferior to OG 4.>spoilerBoy that doesn't bode well.
