Everything is time gated heavily, and Wind Knight is like someone looked at ARR Dragoon and decided to make it even worse.90% of the "cutscenes" in the game and a black screen with text describing what happens.Played it for a couple weeks because I was desperate for an MMO and then gave up when I reached the level cap and found out there was literally nothing except dailies and party finder for hard mode bosses that are the earlier bosess but they do more damage and have more health.

>>724457374the game is dungeon defenders 1, a tower defense/first person/rpg hybrid game.it was regarded as a comfy xbox live classic in the early 2010s, but then some retarded company decision making happened and now the devs behind it are pumping out failure after failure when they could just put more or less full attention on 1 or 2.the pc version has a lot more content to go around but is for certain less soulful than the original campaign and bonus maps. i see public lobbies up playing the original campaign on fresh characters all the time despite the concurrent player count being so low, and while there are a handful of lvl 100 pubs running endgame maps on repeat for loot, most of them including myself just open a private game with 4 splitscreens and either afk for loot, or put much more attention on the game for marginally better drop rates.while grinding was always a part of the game, a comfy part even for the ancient xbox era players who loved to play the survival gamemodes for exp and frequent loot upgrades, the endgame portion has nothing else BUT grinding left as progression. i would like to beat every map on max difficulty on every gamemode so there is no reason left to play it; i would much rather leave it behind with fond memories, rather than waste away in eternity, playing days, weeks or even MONTHS for one single upgrade to drop, forever.ive seen the top players share reasonably decent gear they find and yet they call it irredeemable shit, and by god i dont want to become one of them.
