Ouchhttps://www.gamesradar.com/hardware/gaming-controllers/flydigi-vader-4-pro-review/
>>724449329I have an 8bitdo Ultimate 2, and I've had it for about half a year or so. Works perfectly fine, although when I put the triggers into click mode, the right trigger depresses far more than the left one, which irritates the hell out of me. Despite that build quality problem, I haven't had any problems from a technical side.
Buying anything but 8bitdo is a huge mistake.
I use the 8bitdo brand controller and I am very satisified with my purchase
>>724449329Come home king
>>724449809Do not purchase the gamesir brand controller sir
>>724449329I use the game sir (the basic model, it was like 20 bucks) and it werks fine
>>724449809they done fucked up by using sirnobody will buy it thinking theyre getting jeet products
>>724449583>>724449607>>724449771Is this a shill thread? I own an 8bitdo ultimate as well, but the back button straight up fell out. I was able to fix it with some tape, but this isn't the first time I've had issues with 8bitdo. I also had the SN30 pro+ and the rubber membrane for the face buttons ripped. Causing buttons to get stuck. I had to order parts to fix it.
>>724449329Should've boughted Gamesir
>>724449924Nah it's the first controller I've ever had from them so I'm not pretending like I'm some long term customer that can vouch for their omega greatness. I paid $60 for it after a $10 discount so it better work fucking good, because there are plenty that do 90% of what it does for $20. And aside from that mismatched trigger travel, it does. That's all. I've never had a 3rd party controller before, I've just used a DS4 all this time and the joystick finally started getting all fucked up, and I absolutely hated the always-on light.
>>724449809i'd recommend this if the buttons didn't sound like LOUD mouse clicks
>>724449583Bought these last month and I think they're great, except for the insanely intense lights you can't disable. Gonna have to open it up to remove the LEDs or just use some tape. The Pro 2 didn't have that shit.
>>724450343You mean in the middle? Yeah it's kind of annoying in a dark room, but at least you can turn off that tacky joystick one.
>>724450524Yeah, the joystick one I turned off right away. The middle one and the profile indicator one are WAY too bright. Right on my face whenever the screen goes dark for a transition like back to a loading screen.
>>724449329>Retard has software issues to do with his shitbox computerCool. I'll continue enjoying games on my Vader 4, thanks.
>>724449809BASTARD BLOODY BITCH!
For me, it's the GameSaar Supernova.
My vader 4 has been working for an entire year. Sucks to be retarded i guess
>>724451490Exactly the same for me, no problems at all after a year of use.
>>724450524Ended up grabbing some light dimming stickers from amazon, hopefully it'll do the trick.
>>724449329I just use a regular fucking xbox controller, which is what every other company is trying to copy
>>724452481I just did the scuffed method and used tape and paper on the inside. You can still see the light diffused, but its enough.
>>724449809If this was NOT the gamesir, I would have been disappointed.
>3rd party controllers
>>724452981Still seeing the light is better anyway just in case I need to troubleshoot, I just don't want it to act as a flashlight when the screen goes dark.
>>724453149We're long past the Madcatz/Hori trash era. These have been better than the 1st party controllers for years now. Better battery lives, better sticks, better d-pads, better buttons, better functionality, better price, better or equal durability.
>>724449809SAAR memes aside, are these actually good? I'm looking for something to replace my ancient 360 controller with for general PC use (native PC games, emulators, etc)
>>724453149You'd have been right 15 years agoThings have changed
>>724449809the gamepag for discerning aryan men
>>724453149>1st party PC controller from the PC Company
>>724453554>>724453149The durability part is what makes me so butthurt. Both Sony and Nintendo controllers are fucking trash that can barely survive a couple of years of active use. And they've been this way for 2 gens now. Bonus point for DualShit having an abysmal battery life that quickly degrades over time.
>>724453746unironically may be better than first party controllers
>>724453746gamesir seems to be having QC problems recently. Besides those particular controllers don't have good d-pad so it's not even worth entertaining for that reason alone imo. Buying controller without good d-pad is kinda retarded when there are many controllers nowdays with usable or good d-pads
>>724449329>>724449809>>724451421>dpad in the wrong placeuhhhh anyway lets talk about a real man's controller: Logitech F710
Never played with a shittiest controller than the microsoft one.
I'm not a shill but I also got the 8bitdo ultimate controller and haven't had a single issue with it at all but I don't use it super often. Maybe like twice a week? It's been like a year and some change but maybe I'm just lucky or something.
>>724454059Battery life was the main thing that drove me to finally try third party stuff. Both for headphones and controllers. The awful build quality and uncomfortable headbands I just didn't know any better, for all I knew the others were bad too, but the battery not lasting shit and reading about several times longer battery life than what I had made me say fuck it.Glad I did, it's better in every way. Can't believe I used to claw on my controller.
>>724449809I will never purchase a controller called the fucking gamesir lmao
8bitdo ultimate is ok, but the design is too safe, it's not "sexy" or "creative". it's also too small. The shape of xbox controller style fits hands better than the tiny 8bit ultim
>>724453149Anon we live in an era of gaming where 1st party controllers are all bottom of the barrel cheap dogshit since they want to force people to buy replacements, I like the feel of the dualsense but it got stick drift so fast I just replaced it with the ultimate 2 as my PC gamepad and I won't go back, at least this one won't pull that bullshit.
my xbone controller has been fine
>>724449809not buying a square controller
>>724454501If you want symmetrical I guess you could go with 8bit pro 3, too. And once Gamesir gets their QC in-order (or IF they get it) then maybe a refresh of Tar Pro or some other symmetrical controller might be coming from them soon
>>724449809why did my wife buy the black version?
I bought this yet I rarely hear anyone talk this company and their gamepads, even though they basically invent Hall effect joysticks
>>724454978this kk is old product I think? The never hype abotu the is on Elves 2, ES Pro and upcoming TT Max. For switch there's also those joycon replacement things (and even adapter to make them work on switch 2) but I rarely use my swatch in handheld mode so I don't know if I need those.
>>724454540Bizarrely, Microsoft is the last major player who gives a shit about the quality of their controllers. These have been good since xbone and Elite was their only stinker. I just wish they had more functionality like gyro, extra buttons, trigger to bumper switch and so on.
>>724455110So it sounds to me is what you need is beitong kunpeng 70Why settle for less when you can buy the best
What the fuck are these threads?>No for me its Stickyflip 8BitGamer Elite Darth Vader 4
>>724455209Nah, I love my SN30 Pro. I only have the xbox controller around for games that require analog triggers.
>>724450091That's the choice you make when you buy the ones using switches instead of membrane. You have the option.
>>724453746the Tegenaria Lite is fantastic. Got it for about 20 bucks and its better than 90 percent of controllers. Sticks are hall effect so should last a long time
