I can't believe it's 2025 and NO ONE has even fucking thought of making a game that teaches you how to use git.
Can you imagine how fucking lucrative it could be?
The world is full of fucking retards, I swear.

Who would the target audience be?
>>
>>724450045
People who already know how to use git.
>>
>>724450017
fuck that, what are some games that teach you how to code?
>>
>>724450017
if you think it would be such a great idea to make a game that teaches you something that is kind of obnoxious and not very interesting but also not very hard to learn then you can go ahead

https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Git

I don't understand how git became so popular, it requires the most baffling set of commands to do even basic operations. Simple things that would be a single mouse click in Perforce end up being 3 different command lines in git with all these caveats and gotchas based on the current state of the repo, yet somehow it had mass success?? is it like Dota 2 where the appeal is learning the 1000 different ways it can crush your balls
>>
>>724450017
The people interested in such a thing have long since learned and don't need a game to explain such basic knowledge. The tech illiterate masses don't even know what Git is, and such a game would be a waste of time.
>>
I don't think we want people who don't know how to use git pushing git commits.

>Teaches u how to use git
Everything you need to know about git can be summarised in a 1 page cheatsheet, the fuck you need a game for it?
>>
>>724450208
most people do not want to manage their own cloud storage and perforce doesn't have a github equivalent
>>
>>724450017
>git edutainment
nigga what? yeah i can imagine how fucking lucrative that would be: 15 dollars in revenue
>>
go on now, git
>>
>>724450536
It uses the strangest set of commands, like it wasn't made by programmers
>>
>>724451080
consider not using strange commands, you need like 5 if you're not doing black magic
or go use svn i don't fucking know
>>
git gud

Can you translate this into a indie rougelite deckbuilder with meta progression so I can digest it please and thank you
>>
>>724450208
Perforce is unusable garbage.
>>
>>724450017
They did, it's called Oh My Git

To prevent Indians from following the cheatsheet and pushing their garbage tutorial commit to an actual git repository.
>>
>>724450017
Only streamers would play it. All games that mimic work (those horror games where you make smoothies and shit) do not appeal to normal person who just wants to play game for a fun.
