3 was too ambitious, I like the ideas behind 3 but it doesn't come together well. And it's a chore to get the game to run at all.Anything is better than 4 though, 4 has no redeeming qualities whatsoever besides the fact that you can mod it into a completely different game

Been long enough I forget the name but I expect it's easy enough to find with some searching. I'd say it's a better porn game than 4 too since there were even story engine mods that worked on that and could add dynamic rapists and stuff but I don't think it ever got near the animations that 4 did so it's more a matter of if you prefer better looking sex animations or a story-rich rape sandbox infused with personalityEven without the sex though, try to find those story mods. There are other personality archetypes that it can assign automatically based on sim stats and it makes your non-controlled sims a lot more interesting to be around

It feels like a world and with the right mods you can get a really indepth playthrough that has any amount of edge you want.2 is apparently the best but I never played it. There's probably nostalgia bias with that but it's runnable and purchasable again so you can try that.4 is extremely moddable but the modding fanbase is weirdly broken up and tribalistic. Like some mods actively crash your game if you try to run them with other mods. The example I think everyone knows is Wicked Whims, but what fucked with me for 10 hours of troubleshooting was this mod for anime gooner statues causing a hard CTD if it was paired with this drug lab mod.Found out (though a forum post going into a schizo rant) that the author of the gooner statues had some vendetta against the drug lab mod and would just make all his mods cause a CTD if you even had that one enabled.Sims modding just seems to be filled with schizos apparently.
