Recently replayed Simon's Quest, and I got no clue why SotN gets called out as the easy Castlevania. Besides the kneeling crap with the crystals, 2 is a braindead simple game. All of the enemies are chumps, the whopping three bosses are lame, and even if you die you don't lose any progress. Exploration is just "Go right until it stops, then go left until you're done."
