The Nintendo Wii.
>>
yeah that's actually what they called it
>>
>>724508647
why actually did they call it that?
>>
>>724508545
It really was the downfall of nintendo
>>
>>724508545
More like, the Nintendo Pii! Because this thing's a load of piss!

you can really tell a lot about a man by his opinion of the wii

Wii as in We, and they picked Wii U as in We (You)
>>
Is it still possible to get an unused Wii?
>>
>we would like to pray
what did they mean by that
>>
>Wii Play
I swear every Wii owner bought that fucking game for the cheap Wii Remote, I have no idea how it wasn't the best selling game on the system literally everyone I knew had a copy.
>>
>>724508962
>only three good games in that entire selection
Grim

I had one of these as a kid but I never used it for anything except playing Wii Sports with family members.
I hated the waggling. I was a 360 kid back then.

>Still have our wii (or atleast the 3rd bought one as the other two got stolen when we used to live around our "kind")
>Mom insists we get rid of it (or give it away) along with our other consoles
>Anything associated with your dead father we can't keep because god told me to
>Oh, but we're keeping his comic book collection which is worth thousands
>>

A crackhead stole my WII U and my Mom sold my Wii without permission. At least I still have my Dads.
>>
desu

I bought one not so long ago, it was hacked already so all I have to do is put games on a SD card and play them.
I need to find what to play besides Nintendo games.

The Wii I got had a fuck ton of saves of shitty dancing and fitness games.
>>

I swear, this commercial series was what made it successful. It was a stroke of genius. Kids quoted it, parents thought it was approachable, it was parodied everywhere.
>>
>>724508962
I grew up with it but I never truly sank my teeth into its library. I always wanted something with more depth than mario galaxy or smash bros brawl, you know? I just didn't know what to look for at the time.
>>
>>724508962
half shit
1/5 plays better on DS

t.had every single gaming machine in that gen and played way more games on even the psp and ds than I did on the Wii

My only wiimote just stopped working one day, I have no idea why. I opened it up and nothing looks damaged or anything. Makes no sense.

I need my PGA Tour 12 fix badly...
>>
>>724520721
Wii was a great golf machine.
>>
>>724520721
I would say buy a cheap one but afaik anything that isn't original may have issues with some games.
I bought a cheap one and when I tried Sonic Racing it wouldn't recognize my controller.
>>
>>724508545
that packaging, so much nostalgia
the art of packaging products in a way that makes unboxing them a journey that stays forever in your mind is now lost
>>

Monster Hunter Tri, my beloved.
>>
>>724508545
Zoomers are nostalgic for this era
>>
Getting the Wii for christmas is probably the best feeling ever, moreso than when I got the N64 and Gamecube
>>
>>724508545
I like it but my fucking god why did they have to make it impossible to control the menu without a wii remote. My BT module died, the console booted fine but nothing would pair so it was a brick until I replaced it. I hadn't updated bootmii since 2009 so it couldn't even launch the homebrew channel with a gamecube controller.
>>
>>724523276
I said the same thing about the PS2
>>
>>724508962
Absolutely based.
>>
>>724518520
I reached top rank in multiplayer for The Conduit and pissed off one guy so hard, he recognized me in an entirely different game just for him to rage at me.

Probably one of the big highlights for multiplayer for me.
