Tomb Raider 2013 was boring as hell, never bothered with the others.Combat sucks, the story is complete nonsense, the writing is trash, the platforming is merely following a scripted path, and the constant "epic cinematic" sequences get old and annoying very quick. There is just so, so many times that you are railroaded down a sequence of conveniently placed ledges and platforms to magnetize to, only to just barely survive in the nick of time! (except the previous 50 consecutive times you also just survived in the nick of time!)

2 > 1 > > 32 and 1 were decent. 3 felt like a licensed game from the previous generation, lame way to end what could have been a decent not particularly memorable trilogy of games you have also played.
Tomb Raider wanted to be Uncharted + Hunger Games so bad it was painful. Just a boring, bland, zero style or substance game.Didn't play the snow one.Shadow was a game I wanted to like, it seemed to go back to the roots of TR alittle bit. But its still boring. Got some good booby mods though on Nexus.

shadow is only bad if you speedrun the main story. the extra dlc are all creative, visually pleasing too, and add character depth.rise is glorified uncharted, super overrated.

Game's decent, but looking back, I think I find it less fun than I did right after playing it. Reboot is shit, and Shadow is a letdown from Rise, with loads of filler and busywork.
Unironically the only part of nu-Tomb Raider that feels like it had any passion put into it was the ryona fetish QTE deaths. Every other aspect was just bog-standard third person movie slop with a recognizable IP attached to it.
