gonna be honest ive always hated video game horror stories because every protagonist is retarded. just turn the game off or delete the files or whatever. i do like normal internet horror stories but once youve read a few you start noticing all the cliches and stereotypes

Generally I like creepypastas that sound like something that could actually happen via mods or something. Fallout 3 Numbers Station or Pokemon Black are the first that come to mind. Fallout 2's Auger Quest is a lesser known one that I think also fits.
