Can you give me a short review or take? It's on my wishlist.
>>
>>724552252
No one in here buy this bros
>>
>>724552252
Is it finished?
How autistic is it?
>>
>Rimworld but as a citybuilder
Hard pass.
>>
>>724552252
Played the shit out of it in early access. It definitely is one of the best city builders.

Any point in coming back for 1.0?
>>
>>724552747
it's a city builder and you build a city
>>
>>724552793
Yes
Moderately autistic
>>
>>724553060
Still no bridges so no. I guess they added a tech tree though.
>>
>>724552943
>rimworld
It's based off of Banished you stupid faggot.
>>
>>724552252
Best in 200 years?! Damn..
>>
>>724552252
Looks boring and ugly
>>
>>724552252
It runs better in game but takes me like 10 minutes to actually open the damm thing
Tech tree is nice addition but still just Banished but better
Was kind of hoping for like, the kingdom we left to try and tax us or take it by force
>>
Would a city builder in a D&D setting be a smash hit?
>>
>>724553701
So it's just as lame as the rest of them?
>>
>>724554123
>>724553060
there are bridges, dont listen to this faggot. 1.0 filled out the combat/defense side of things alot, deep mines, self sustaining industries, map can be alot crazier than the previously boring flat grasslands, etc. also a research/skill tree/need to make paper from flax and water, whole permanent improvement pipeline thing got added. if you liked pre 1.0 at all, youll like this now. its just more good stuff
>>
it makes my GPU want to explode for some reason
>>
>>724554747
no, it's really good. by the maker of grim dawn
>>
>>724552252
As an old Settlers boomer this scratches an itch I forgot about. I find the combat controls wonky as hell though. Just fought off the first raid. Also sucks that raiders don't drop anything, not even weapons.
>>
>>724552252
I like regular people play a game when it comes out in early access and play it for like a week and never touch it again. There are too many games to play. Sorry.
>>
>>724552252
Most of the people bought it during early access when it whenever it went on sale. Why would people buy it when it becomes more expensive on the final 1.0 update?
>>
>>724554625
the genre is fantasy and the setting is forgotten realms, Sanjay
>>
>>724552252
Because its just cityslop
>>
>>724558129
what does that even mean?
>>
>>724555336
grim dawn is the most boring game I have every played
>>
>>724552252
>city builder
>not modern or/or futuristic
Literally no point in playing it
>>
There's no escaping grid in city building game?
>>
>>724559285
You have genuinely garbage taste. You'll right into /v/ though.
>>
>>724552252
besides anno 1404 any good game where I can larp as a rich merchant family like the medici or borgias (like late medieval-renaisance era)
>>
>gridshit
>>
>>724552252
Hardly, they can't even get something as simple as anti-aliasing right, right now it's just a blur filter. No, I am not joking, increasing the render resolution works better than enabling what they are calling "MSAA".
Pathetic.
>>
>>724552252
The performance irritates me. A game that looks barely better than Banished shouldn't make my coolers spin as fast as they have to.
>>
Efficient cities are laid out in grids. Inefficient cities are just slapping a McDonalds down next to the Wal-Mart next to the Insurance Office/Hairdresser/Chinese restaurant next to the gas stations EXTREMELY SLOTHFUL
>>
>>724559397
Sometimes I wish I could have a grid in a game that's only as straight as you could expect someone to eyeball it from the ground. An imperfect, wobbly grid when seen from above.
>>
>>724552252
>city builder
OK grandpa, time for bed

the tech tree in this is awful. Raiders as a mechanic also feel pathetic or overbearing with no inbetween. Also unless you autistically micromanage all of your fields you will inevitably get diseases in all of them since the spread range is 50-150m for most diseases and they last fucking YEARS.

That's a great review
>>
>>724561696
farming is hard, bro. I wish they would make it even more autistic
>>
>>724552252
haven't played this since the start of early access where I loved it. will be going back to it for sure
>>
>>724552252
Just another 2 weeks for 117, I'm waiting for that so I don't want city builder burnout beforehand
>>
>>724561194
looks good thanks
>>
>>724559397
>This building needs to be covered by 10 different buildings with ridiculously small AOE
Wow thanks, what a great mechanic, totally won't lead to min-maxing grid patterns.
