>>724559257I honestly never cared about GTA that much or open world games in general. I tried playing a bit of GTA3 back in the day and then tried again with GTA5 and I just don't like these games. I do understand why normies love it though. They are suckers for open world games and these kind of stories about doing crime, replicating real life violence and sex, and the humor too. As for GTA6 I'm somewhat interested more for the technology than the game itself. At the end gameplay and story wise are just going to be more of the same we have already seen in all the previous games. Mediocre shooting, driving, flying, killing random Npc's to steal their cars, etc.

I'm white and was disappointed with GTA V and felt it was a huge downgrade from GTA IV which is why I'm wary about the next one and not currently planning to buy it on release or at full prize unless I get some confirmation that it addresses my criticisms about V.

It was really disappointing, GTA IV felt like everything had exactly as much breathing room as it needed, all the side characters had their own little arcs that played out satisfyingly... In V everything felt so rushed and half baked.Funnily enough, Red Dead Redemption 2 felt kind of like a return to form, at least in terms of writing, the gameplay had its own issues. If GTA VI can keep it up I'll definitely play it eventually but V kinda burned me.
