Sybil discovers the Visitor. In discovering the Visitor it discovers earth. Sybil realizes the fundamental truth that all life developed from the Visitors cells and that the Visitor cells desire to recombine with themselves into a greater whole. Having already been exposed to observation from the Visitor and been changed Sybil can no longer give the instant Earth Kill Command but she had to lobotomize herself to not properly remember because she still was beginning to assimilate everything and everyone until she melted her brain to limit her awareness. Sam however can if made aware along with any sufficiently human individual that hasn't been exposed to the Visitor. This begs the question on if convincing the Visitor of our own subjectivity/individuality and no longer being observed would make the Earth Kill Command unusable or is the world of Look Outside doomed the moment a normie digs through Sybil's apartment after she's dead or some researcher in a few years comes to the same conclusion. The answer is likely not, since all other endings don't end on notes of total obliteration

It's not worth it, especially if it is skippable side quest. Black screen with text might seem lazy but letting the player visualize the death in their heads isn't all that bad. Some of the best horror story's only are in words with no visuals. Just giving the reader the freedom to fill in the blanks give those horror stories more oomf sometimes.
