It had a very good marketing team. I kept hearing everyone I know talk about it despite none of them seemingly being that excited or having even been hostile to extraction games previously. personally I don't find third person games to be competitive and I'm particularly not interest in high TTK games to solve for desync. the game will turn into corner camping burst DPS races and you'll all hate it in two weeks. I've played this game before in several other packages minus the excuse to have a service model (extraction mode). I don't really got time for that shit.
