Organized crime, be it street gangs, cartel, or mafia, are always just societal parasites who mooch off productive people.

I sorta like the initial plan better, but I bet a lot of casual players didn't pick up on Ryder's betrayal (reminder, players are retards) especially since the initial plan for the stake out mission was a HELICOPTER. Obviously they cahnged it to just viewing it from afar on land so that it drives it home more.
