I didn’t beat it cause I dropped it at the mission where you have to kill your hot mom. Lost once cause of the endless reinforcements that started showing up without warning. Lost another time because she and her mage turrets just turtle with their huge range and merc’d basically any of my units. Didn’t feel like continuing after that. Thought the game was decent, not as good as Fates, but I’ve grown to dislike FE’s core mechanics. It’ll be a toss up if I get the new one, even if the maps and missions look good by series standards

i beat engage blind on maddening, well wasnt even a thing yet. the game is unhard because of how retarded the support rings like corrin and byleth are + draconic crystal. i never had to reset on a map. by the time you get to the nuclear stats of the late game and paralogues you have so many cheesy staves and rings to abuse and infinite money to do so with. it only gets easier with well and knowing how to abuse micaiah + marth for scrimblomaxxing.yeah there are unique challenges to overcome like the wyrms or mauvier warp skipping you, but the game is full of unfair advantages for the player.
