It's a mystery how they were able to play that massacred version of mgs1 called twin snakes

Pretty sure it has one less button than OG xbox. It had one bumper button as opposed to Xbox's black and white buttons (which iirc aren't used for anything important in NG)
>>724697967the sticks dont click either which as we all know is an extremely important function for many games such as... (the list goes on)
>>724697967Retardo. GC doesn't have clickable sticks or a select button either, and on top of that, for any kind of quick inventory/item use, GC has the shittiest dpad with how small it was.
>>724695749it had enough button to support a better game than any j-actionslop.

>>724698135GC has a gate on the joystick, doesn't need dpad.
I never understood the "made for small japanese hands" things with GC. I'm 6'3, I can grip a basketball with 1 hand fairly easily, and I'm a Smelee player who has never once had hand pains playing with the GC controller. But I also play claw grip with nearly every game, so maybe that helps.
>>724698802It's not that the GC controller is small, but it's that the Dpad is small on top of lacking a bunch of buttons. It's not Dreamcast levels bad, but it was another barrier that either made third party ports worse (like how compressed textures/audio/video was due to the disc) but would cause devs to do things like make SSX Tricky just flat out remove moves just to make the game work on the GC.
>>724695749Explain how NGB wouldn't work with a GamcCube controller. The game mainly uses face buttons.
