The only 2025 game I bought and played this year was Borderlands 4.I liked it a lot, but I wound up liking 1 (most), 2 (2nd), pre-seq (3rd), and 3 (last but I still enjoyed), so it really doesn't count. I'm just happy that I get to play with my bros. I also think that it's great that the main story feels gritty and serious. The silly stuff is saved for side quests. I hated how 2 - 3 was mostly comedy writing and liked that 1 was slightly more serious, which is what makes 4 great.The other new game I played this year was Helldivers 2, but that came out another year so it doesn't count.But 3 weeks ago I learned how to play craps and now I carry dice everywhere and constantly challenge friends. Craps is my GOTY.
