Please don't tell me this is you anon, PLEASE
>>
I played 16 of those games
So is that like...good or bad?
>>
to be desu, new vegas is overrated borderline dogshit
>>
>>724706738
No, you're just a fucking retard. No RPG past or present comes anywhere near its writing, characters, player choice and freedom, branching paths, quest freedom and solutions, faction design, or world layout.
>>
>>724706970
This. New Vegas was universally beloved here for over a decade before brown muttzoomer subhumans tried to psyop it by associating it with trannies
>>
>>724706519
I've played and loved 18 of these
>>
>>724706519
Who the fuck is playing Timesplitters Future Perfect to "fit in"? Kill yourself OP.
>>
>>724706519
Oh shit, are we back to having video games as an ironic hobby?
Hell yea!
I love hating games to earn some sort of reverse gay fag cred.
>Sin and Punishment? I'd never play that trash.
>I'd rather post on 4chan and stroke my balls.
>>
>>724706519
these games aren't bad but if your 3x3 has like at least 5 of any of these in it you should consider branching out your taste more.
>>
>>724706970

fucking poetry

Yes, you do fit in the group of people with good taste.
>>

Quests, player freedom, factions, and world design ARE gameplay in an RPG you zoomer retard
>>
i need an official™ list from /v/ with the games i'm no longer allowed to have fun with.
>>
>>724707496
New Vegas also has massive build and playstyle variety, the cornerstone of any good RPG
>>
>>724706519
What are some games that I'm allowed to like, OP?
>>
This site is so fucking gay lmao
Actually play a fucking video game
>>
>>724706519
So what's your favorite games OP?
>>
>>724706519
The only games from there that I'd put on a list of games that are important to me would be LTTP and Pokemon. I played LTTP on SNES when I was young and then bought the remake on GBA when it came out, it set up a lot of things which even now I love from both a graphical and a gameplay perspective. Pokemon (and I'm assuming this for a lot of people my age) was the first real introduction into a media franchise that was on TV, games, toys, etc. It's the first time I've ever had something completely dominate every form of media I interacted with.

I doubt I'll ever play Pokemon again and I'm too lazy to bother with emulation so I'll never play LTTP again, but even still I'd say they're both games that are important to me. There's other games there that I can recognise as being very influential to the industry but for me personally, of the games I've played on that list there's none that I would ever want to go back to, even with Deus Ex getting a remake next year, I'm just not interested.
>>
>>724707913
This, if it's not Fortnite or Roblo then I don't care
>>
>>724706519
Oh nooooooooooooo! I don't want my friends on /v/ to catch me liking good games. I better pretend I hate everything in that image in order to appear mysterious and cool!
>>
>>724706519
this is unironically the best list of games i've ever seen. not perfect, but the best
>>
>>724706519
>list of very good games from the last 25 years
I'm guessing you made a thread about some abhorrent dogshit game and no one replied?
>>
>>724707468
What are some non-/v/-core games you'd recommend, anon? Seriously.
>>
>>724707468
>consider branching out to no-name dogshit to look like le edgy underground poser faggot
>>
>>724706519
I only enjoy big budget games that are easy to get into. People always think I'm kidding, for some reason.
>>
>>724707468
>branching out
All these games are vastly different and have different mechanics. The only similarity is that they're well liked. They're not just well liked here either, its everywhere.

I appreciate you putting didn't like as opposed to bad game
>>
>>724708919
Because none of those games I didn't like are bad, they're all pretty good games actually (there's a reason why they're on that bait list in the first place), they just didn't met my preferences
>>
>>724708678
it's very odd you supposedly liked BG2 and Deus Ex, while disliking max payne and metro, when all your other preferences heavily imply you're a borderline normalfag who prefers straight forward premises and gameplay.
>>
>>724706519
>good games are good
>this makes faggots seethe
why though?
>>
>>724706970
except it's an absolute jankfest, extremely buggy, really ugly, shit ui and interface, shit systems, shit combat, shit traversal, writing is not that good, factions are not interesting and is quite linear
overrated because muh obsidian but it's a bethesda game in the end, so really nothing deep or interesting about it except for the semi-sandbox experience like any other bethesda game
>>
>>724706519
Sorry I like fun
>>
>>724706519
of the nine i’ve played here theres 8 i like
>>
>>724709532
I liked BG2 and Deus Ex for the variety of builds/replayability
Max Payne and Metro are very limited in their replayability imo and I didn't like the aesthetic

This thread again? Kill yourself OP.
>>724707303
Thanks, I pretty much said the same thing in yesterday's thread. There's very little wrong with Future Perfect, it might be easier than the first two TimeSplitters, even on hard mode.
>>
>>724708678
>Liked Super Metroid
>Didn't like SotN.
Interesting. I definitely prefer SM for having overall tighter level design and lacking the RPG mechanics which I feel drag SotN down, but I still enjoyed SotN since they are quite similar, regardless.

>I definitely prefer SM for having overall tighter level design and lacking the RPG mechanics which I feel drag SotN down
Same reasons, but also SotN is a little bit too easy for me
>>
>>724706519
>Guys I hate le popular, well regarded game! Do I fit in?
Unless I misread and you're saying hating the games in OP makes you an insecure fag in which case I agree.
>>
>>724706519
>lol i bet you like good games! how stupid of you or something

did your parents drop you as a baby?
