Is it ever explained how she lost her arm? I dropped out at story end and didn't bother grinding out most of the VN events beyond keepsakes. I did a few events and like nothing happened and it wasn't interesting so I stopped.Dropped but enjoyed it, though, it's not like Hades 1 where you're just tired and glad the game is finally fucking over. Running 2 dungeons 5 times instead of 1 dungeon 10 times probably helps that a lot.

Hades 2 tries to have a big epic story and has to come up with progressively lamer excuses as to why nothing happens, while not letting most of the side-characters be idiot self-absorbed gods to keep things entertaining since they're all so focused on Da Mission. It's such a weird step back in every respect for a sequel to a game that already figured it out. But yeah it's a better game. Half of Hades 1's weapons are outright painful to use and you can get dragged into tortuously slow lol nodamage runs so easily, in 2 you always have some way to turn things around and get the run rolling.
Silksong is a better Indie.And E33 is a better game in general.This game stands no chance at GOTY lmao. Get fucked losers.

I wish Hades 2 had a better plot. Having a ton of conditional dialog is great CN material, but pretty wuickly you realize it’s like “oh they’re saying this because I beat the cyclops or I lost to Eris or…” and it carries no weight because it’s not anything that really fleshes out the characters. Everyone is so flat emotionally that it’s a huge waste of time listening to them, even the main drive itself is only captivating if you’ve played Hades 1.
