>>724786176The Digimon balance is pretty shit and the part of the early-ish game where you're grinding challenges for exp to progress the story is not engaging at all. You're severely handicapped if your favorite only has close-range attacks.The combat is probably the weakest point which isn't great since it's what you're doing most of the time. Seeing the sprite animations per mon is the main appeal.

Why am I getting fucked in the ass now as Digimon is getting a big uptick in relevance? Nobody gave a fuck about digimon a few years ago (last relevant release in the west was cyber sluts) but I could buy a vpet from any grocery store. Now they release their biggest hit in years and they’re selling merch like it’s some hyper niche thing. They’re more expensive than Time Stranger with the DLC! I’m losing my fucking mind!
