Is daggerfall worth playing?
>>724779915Not really.Maybe sink an hour or two into it. You'll see everything it has to offer.

>level locksafter taking all the time to learn the system and get to the first main quest objective, I was thoroughly disappointed when I couldn't receive the quest because I was too low level. no idea or desire to go anywhere else first. just the first objective is>grind somewherefuck this meme gaym
>>724779915No it's boring
>>724780024this looks so dumb how did they think of this as a good idea
>>724780024This looks amazing. This is the best idea ever

It's a glimpse into what kind of direction the Elder Scrolls could have taken if Todd Howard didn't come along and decided to turn the series into an action adventure game for console casuals by making Morrowind.
>>724780092What? As far as I remember Daggerfall originally doesn't have any level requirementsDid you play with a mod or are you just being a reetard?
>>724780802No he's right.A section of the main quest won't trigger until you're a certain level.
>>724779915It's fun for a little while until you get a dungeon that is physically impossible to beat without cheating.
>>724779915It's fine for a while but ultimately lacking in content and mindless once you figure it out. The main quest and all its dungeons were designed by a sadist.
>>724779915tes is meh
>>724782024>were designedProcedural generation is hardly design.
>>724782121No, the main quest dungeons were (at least partly) designed by hand. They have unique puzzles, environmental interactions and rooms that cannot be procedurally generated in the game. They're also pure cock and ball torture, some of them far worse than the procedurally generated dungeons.
>>724779915Maybe it is, but it's not replayable, so always choose Mannimarco unless you believe you can max out reputation with all factions in one life. All other rewards you can get playing normally.
