Everyone's saying it's because there's no romance, but it's more because there's nowhere near the same level of perversion that made Persona 5 as memorable as it is. Putting a dark sex abuse scandal with a PE teacher into the same game where you can blackmail your Homeroom teacher into letting you slack in class and eventually have her rock your world as a maid is a wild play, all while you're getting dommed by two toddlers.

this is the last game I think I got really into and put in the 100 hours in about a month, I never do that anymore. It's not even that great but for the majority it does manage to grab at your imagination and makes you wonder where it's going to go. the production values are there and even if it's not more than a 7/10 it's so rare for jrpgs to feel big now
