Why is PC gaming so shitty?I spend as much time looking online for fixes as I am gaming. Will buying games instead of pirating change anything?

I primarily emulate and play older pc games and it has never taken me more than a few minutes to get a game working properly, let alone new releases. Is your IQ in the low teens?
