>>724804596>And the "get x cloths from wandering bugs" lategame in the citadel is just tedium choreslop.That one is probably to remind you to explore the Slab more if you weren't captured since you should've gotten the Apostate Key by then, since the western side of the Chambers is mostly those enemies, while the eastern side is mostly pin-wielders (with exceptions, obviously). But wishes like those are why you don't have to do all of them, you can skip 5-8 optional wishes depending on how many courier runs you do.
I haven't beaten act 3 yet, but am so fucking disappointed that it wasn't a return to Hallownest for a few areas. I don't even care if that'd be reused assets from the first game if it meant we got to see how things have changed since or how the two kingdoms would interact.It's not even that hard to explain; Hornet returns home to get some backup / reinforcements to help her before she fights GMS, and while she's there, there's some small issue that needs to be resolved first before she can make the trek back to Pharloom.
