"minmaxing? That's like, so incel-coded. Can't you just play the game normally and enjoy it?"
No.
I legit don't know what that means
that is playing the game normallya game is a set of rules and an objectiveplaying it normally is trying to reach the objective fastest under the rules provided. its like a puzzle you have to solve.
>>724825437Yes, before "gaming" turned into a circus of literal who streamers, buzzwords, visual gimmicks, lazy trends, outsourcing, and so much more
>>724825437Why is a hole talking to me?
>>724825437Shut up whore
>>724825524Ask me how I know you're an incel.
>>724825437Isn't doing the most optimal strategy already playing the game as intended? When people say things like "You're not getting the intended experience unless you only use the starter weapon, never use xyz item, never use magic, etc." I feel like they have it backward.
>>724825437I didn't pay you to critique my gameplay style, I paid you to insult the size of my penis. That 30 minutes is ticking down.
Min/Maxing is just making optimal choices when possible and not really anything to care about. If your wizard is dual wielding swords then you should expect harder fights.Being a metafag is far worse because theyre just reading guides instead of workshopping a fun build, but I blame multiplayer devs for caving to poopsocks and forcing people to chase big numbers and endgame content instead of just enjoying the game content for what it is.None of this applies to PvP but PvP in rpgs is retarded to begin with
>>724825878mental gymnastics
>>724825524>trying to reach the objective fastestNot true unless there is a time limit.
>>724826168while you dont strictly have to, if you took two players the one who managed to do it fastest would be called 'better at the game'really timers and time contributing to score have only been removed from games since they have become complex enough not to need that element.
>>724826168Agreed.Journey > Destination. I hate games that are about chasing some end goal instead of interacting with the world
I generally max-min in my games.
guys please laugh
>>724825437I don't minmax, I just put together a build that I think I'll enjoy and try to make sure nothing contradicts each other(i.e. I wouldn't choose extra spell damage on a build with no spells)
>>724826483im all good
>>724825437playing a game where minmaxing is even a concept is cringe
