Why the fuck would a top-secret lab be under a mansion? Why the fuck would the employees need to solve logic puzzles to get in? I mean, do they have to do them every shift to get in/out? Are the compensated for their time doing them? And do the puzzles change every day or do they just memorize what to do?
You're not The Thinker, lil bro.
>>724830410We just accepted the fact the mansion was made by an insane person. Hell all of Umbrella appeared to be staffed by people off their rocker. And also this universe had never heard of a zombie before, so this elite team of badasses were torn to pieces. Maybe they didn't have horror movies in the Resident Evil Universe.
>>724830410The puzzles are for you to slow your progress. You and your team are trapped into the mansion to test the b.o.w's in combat. In re2 it doesnt make sense though.
The puzzles were part of the simulation/test that the STARs members were brought to the mansion for. Other workers likely had the keys/access to get to the guardhouse and lab, but tjey were also test subjects. It was all planned by Wesker and Umbrella so they could see if BOWs were capable of defeating special forces.
>>724830684In re2 they made the chief a schizo or something
>>724830684It arguably still makes sense since Irons was covering for Umbrella and he was the one that had the precinct remodeled. There arent any puzzles in the precinct that I can recall that werent required for some secret place that staff wouldnt access anyway. Irons probably put spare keys in places he assumed only he would know about. He was sadistic and probably doing some Jigsaw shit in his sparetime who knows
>>724830410its Spencers mansion and he founded Umbrella
>>724830563toxotransmosis moment
>>724830628>>724830773Nice cope Kojima, but your games still make no sense
>>724830410You're not clever millennial. It's a video game. Christ, the internet ruined everything by letting dumbasses like you make your "clever" and "witty" observations that you somehow think no one else has ever noticed.
>>724832483/pol/mosis moment
>>724831318Nigga hid a regular office key that you had to get by putting a lions medalion into a statue so it would pour out the key bro. Must be a pain to work there.
Wesker literally set everything up in advance. The whole game was a test for the BOWs. Normally the people working there would just have walked in and out of the doors like it was no big deal as they would have all been left unlocked.
Theres alternate ways that we just dont see in the game. Like the helipad has a big door that we never use but the employees likely used that door and there was probably a path in the forest that led directly to that helipad door instead of the round about way we go in the game of going through the house and the underground section that brings you to the fountain entrance to the lab.
>>724830410The mansion was a booba trap for wanderers. The lab was underneath the mansion as a place no one would think to look. The workers lived in the guardhouse. Its not complicated.
Because it's cool you fucking faggot
The weirder thing is why they landed the helicopter in the open part of the forest instead of moving forward for a few more seconds and landing on the helipad on top of the lab which is very easily and clearly visible from the sky.
>>724830410Because it's a vidya
>>724830410To lie to the US government and embezzle state funds into B.O.Ws for the international war economyThe logic puzzles were to test S.T.A.R.S against the B.O.Ws otherwise to them its shooting fish in a barrelI don't think wesker realized how fucked they'd all be at night after the initial outbreaks and no one saw birkins assclown moves since they were already so goddamn rich from lying directly to the government all the timeTl;dr wesker is Batman and had prep time
>>724834172No you don't understand it's night and S.T.A.R.S can't see at night according to this anon>>724834651
What would Wesker have done if they had actually landed on the helipad and went straight to the lab? That would have fucked over his whole plan over something that had a high chance to happen. They would have avoided all the dogs and the zombies and hunters in the house and guard house and whatnot.
>>724833921Yeah I got the impression the helipad + elevator was the main lab entrance and the fountain was like a hidden backdoor entrance.
>>724834651But the US government was in bed with Umbrella
>>724835056I thought Rebecca (working with wesker) destroyed the helicopter engine
>>724835540What gave you that absurd idea m8
No one was solving those puzzles daily. That was an emergency system put in place to keep people out. Those safe guards wouldnt be activated unless they needed to be. I swear, can you not think critically? Why would this be a daily thing?
>>724835934According to Canon, they were fucking
>>724836320Huh now it kinda makes sense why the original guy hated her being in the 1st game & she never showed up again till 5
>>724833535>Spare keys>SpareYou are very intelligent
>>724830410>evil lab is the target of a siege from some concerned party that disapproves of all the evil shit we're doing>while they're solving retarded puzzles, you are alerted to their presence, burn all the evidence and evacuate everyonemost charitable interpretation imo
>>724835056>>724834172Wesker had both choppers sabotaged, although Brad managed to RTB1.Alpha chopper crashes, RPD takes days to mobilize, everybody dies because someone sets the mansion destruction system 2.They actually land on the helipad and assuming the elevator was working, make to the lab and Joseph gets slice n diced by Chimeras, Wesker grooms Jill,Chirs & Barry into a journey to the mansion while "he secures the lab">set the destruction system and fly away with Brad, everybody else dies.
