I'm going to play this as my first Fallout. Should I play on PC or Xbox One? I have Windows 11. Apparently you need to install a fuckload of mods to get it to work.

Xbox 360 through an Xbone or one of the series would be preferable because all Bethesda vidya under Snoy tends to suck ass. Skyrim on the PS3 was the biggest offender. Be aware that using certain weapons like lasers and plasmas can tank your performance by flooding the savefile via goo and ash piles. They never fully patched it so said piles can potentially corrupt your save if they don't get recycled out during runtime. Generally PC is always the way to go if only so you can fix what they couldn't with about 15 years worth of user made bandaids.
