Apollo is really fun in AA4 and has great interactions with characters like Trucy and Klavier. I can only assume nostalgiafags cried and threw a fit over the new characters, because instead of expanding upon Apollo, they wrote him out for most of the game so they can jerk off Phoenix and introduce Athena. By SoJ, they tried to give Apollo more depth, but it's very frontloaded since he pretty much skipped the entire last game. It comes off as forced as a result.Morale of the story, Dual Destinies sucksP.S., Athena is a nothing character and is way worse than Apollo could ever be. The difference is people want to fuck her.

Apollo was based, as was Hobo Phoenix. It's a shame they retconned it, and even worse, wasted the potential they had with Punished Apollo. Rise From The Ashes is the only genuinely great case and the peak of the series.At least Athena was hot, and AA6 Maya.
