Why did Sly not have a fourth PS2 game? Couldn't Sucker Punch come up with a spinoff title like Jak and Ratchet?
Sly Cooper 3 came out just a year before the PS3, so any 4th game that they were working on would've likely been a PS3 game anyway, not another PS2 game.Plus, Sly Cooper games tended to be a bit better designed than the others. Ratchet and Clank were pretty repetitive and so they could easily pump out another game with just some new maps and environments. Sly games tended to have new ideas and new things to do with each game, so it would've been harder to just pump out a 4th Sly Cooper title in the same way. Never played Jak, so I can't say about those games.
