It's genuinely good but no one will ever know because it came at a time of capeshit fatigue and after that live service game failed

I see this get a lot of praise here and I tried it out. Just ended up getting bored and dropping it after a few hours of killing space testicles.

Holy fuck I was going to say this was before capeshit fatigue because I genuinely thought this game came out in like 2018. Either way I remember a lot of people actually saying it was good, it was more just that people were spoiled with gaming time during covid and there was lots of other stuff grabbing attention. The combat was kind of basic but it held my attention long enough for the story to play out. I do remember people also being mad it wasn't the movie characters even though the characterization pretty much was. Good looking game too and the ship was comfy might have to replay this.

Its the same writer as the 2 Adam Jensen Deus Ex games.

I liked the banter, it's not like the normal capeshit quippiness that gets on your nerves immediately. The only downside was the voicelines they throw at you when you go exploring. It's cute to have the game react like that the first 5 times but after the 30th time you just go "yeah yeah I'm picking up this collectible here, get your snarky voice line out"

Damn, I should finally get around to playing Mankind Divided

Gameplay wise it’s whatever, it’s carried by the character banter

I personally like the combat but I'm fond of any cooldown-based game. I know people would rather play the other characters instead of calling them in for attacks but I'm fine with it

I like the idea of it, and it was serviceable enough that I actually finished it which is a lot for me as someone who never finishes games. I just think there’s potential to do a lot more with it

Played it for ten hours and only like one actually had what could be considered gameplay and wasn't just QTEs, walking along a corridor wit occasional button prompts or conversations.
