competitive Tekken is so god damn boring to watch lmao, all they do is constant fakeouts and just play like absolute bitches waiting for their opponent to make a mistake. Meanwhile, look at any DOA or VF match and you'll see them actually fighting, yet proactive gameplay apparently disqualifies them from being "real" fighting games by Tekkenfags who don't like being punished for defensive play.
Well you'll love tekken 8

>>724867316This is why you simply watch UMVC3 evos from between the years of 2014-2020 if you want kino. 3d fighters have always been keep away takeout bait footy nightmares. The only ones that aren't like this are Ultimate Ninja Storm, Tenkaichi, and Sparking Zero.

>>724867316WHAT A GAMEPLAY AND WHAT A GENRE AMIRITE FELLAS>i pick the money-maker character, because the character i like has sucked ass for the past 4 games and theres only 3 playable characters, in a cast of 45 characters>fight starts>puritan foreplay: no handholding, no touching, no nothing because touching is sinful and will lead to a combo->company-approved combo starter lands>sit down and grab a drink while my opponent busts his load all over the screen, gaze in awe at his 30,000 hours spent memorizing the same optimal combo which he has already performed about 100 times so far in this bracket>announcers have no idea what is going but the combo counter keeps going up so "AAAAYOOO GET HYPED NO WAY HOLY SHIEEET NYGGUH PUT ME IN A TWITCH CLIP">company-approved comeback mechanic kicks in>i place my opponent on the cuck chair while i violently cum all over the screen and deplete his health bar with the optimized combo i checked yesterday on the company-approved official discord>i rise from my seat victorious and approach the crowd while the ad for the lastest 40 dollar season pass plays in the backgroundwhat a fighting game renaissance era amirite fellas
I do like Soul Calibur better but I never learned how to play it properly.
