Bombergirl has seen critical and financial success ever since its debut back in 2018, while the mainline Bomberman series has been in a downward spiral, and has seen mostly mobile titles, a failed Stadia game and its 40th anniversary game being a huge flop.
They should just axe Bombercuck at this point and base all future titles on Bombergirl. The people have already decided who they prefer.
