There are less and less reasons for me to bother with PC gaming, since a console like the Switch does pretty much the same task to play videogames but with extra perks. The natural progression is that you get a PC first for work related stuff, and naturally you want some gaming capability so you get all those required parts. Sitting on my couch with a 60 inch TV and controller in hand is comfy, especially if I'm in a party with my friends or something.
