I just don’t get this. I can understand getting a steam deck to emulate stuff and play indies but if you were going to spend $1000 on a handheld why not just get a PC or PS5 Pro?

I agree anon, PC handhelds should be used for emulation and indies. Something like a Switch 2 I can understand for higher end games as games are specifically made for that hardware, rather than a big PC game playing at butchered handheld specs.
