flawed masterpiece but it's the best jidai geki video game that you can play. for some reason nips fail to make a realistic jidai geki game so they had to leave that to baka gaijins.

Decent, predictable, but well made story with really well executed ending
Amazing graphic and general aesthetics. Honestly, I'm the guy who barely gives a fuck about graphics, but in this case I couldn't help myself from thinking how nice it all looks and stroll around just to enjoy the view, it's also the game where I took the most screenshots I think.

If you like Ubislop open world type games, or really dig the Samurai setting, you will have a pretty good time up to about 1/4 of the way through Act 2. At that point you will realize the game has blown its entire load, but at least you have a few more fun duels to look forward to. Once the last of those are done you will realize you have Act 2 and Iki island, and it's not worth it. Oh, by the way, the cool shinobi outfit like the one on the cover? Can't even get it until Act 3. Enjoy!

Doesn't class with Dark Souls and Ekden Ring, but it's pretty good

Meanwhile on the lower difficulties your parry time is through the roof, everything dies in seconds while you take next to no damage, they don't notice you as much, and they attack slower from what I recall forcing less stance changes.
There's no reason to play non-Lethal difficulties unless you're a journalist.

Lethal arguably makes the game easier since you don't need to stagger goons or bother with stance switching, since enemies all die in 1-5 light attacks anyway.
