Apathy is death. Worse than death, because at least a rotting corpse feeds the beasts and insects
Clayfighter said that?
Hesitation is defeat.

He makes me laugh pretty often. Very witty guy. When's FF5, buddy?
I told ya i winI told ya i winBonkers was my favorite character because of how annoying his voice was. I modeled my whole life after the idea of annoying people because of him.

>>724929869Except for FF3, it just started hard then turned into an easy jog because onion knights eventually turn into the strongest shit.
>>724931587Takes him a while to get there though so it's not all bad. Like 80% of the game is him suffering especially that unnecessary 16 hours of grind and then he finally gets to the Onion Swords.
>>724931847True but he did say that it was not as bad as he thought it could have been and was considering the DS version, but couldn't think on what to cut without making it entirely impossible.
>>724931991One can only hope the DS remakes will be something he pivots to, or some side games like WoFF, Type-0, FFT/A, the Wiiware sequel to 4, etc. I know he said he wants to go up to 16 (He'll probably ignore 11 and 14 like any sensible person would) but it would be a shame if he only does mainlines.

>>724929662>>724929869The voice is just perfect for comedy. He knows just when to raise his pitch to make even the most innocuous line hilarious. I'm personally a fan of his Paper Mario vid. I hope he gets big, but also not too big, ya know? Although I doubt he's the type to ever start doing VPN sponsorships. It's just more fans means more potential dickbag fans that fill his comments and chat with trite that dissuades him from making more vids.
>>724935497>The voice is just perfect for comedyhe sounds like a really passionate nerd and that's for the best
I don't like this guy even though I'd have thought I would. The challenges are basically like watching a guy blend different foods and drink them with a straw then make disgusted faces
>stealth e-celeb shits make a decent topic by accident
>>724935916Yeah, but the disgusted faces he makes are really funny. He also does drop the character at the end of vids and claims what he enjoyed about making them, which is usually finding those extremely obscure item or weapon locations that not even the full guides mention. I, too, adore finding out about those things in games I love.

>“As the Americans learned so painfully in Earth’s final century, free flow of information is the only safeguard against tyranny. The once-chained people whose leaders at last lose their grip on information flow will soon burst with freedom and vitality, but the free nation gradually constricting its grip on public discourse has begun its rapid slide into despotism. Beware of he who would deny you access to information, for in his heart he dreams himself your master.”
>>724937157Why'd he do it? Was he retarded?
>>724937479I think the retarded part of his plan was not preparing the city or leaving any instructions to his son and Rubin. I guess he had some esoterical justification for it in the likes of "it should happen naturally without any guidance so that the people will find their ways on their own, and my son will make new lines and connections without me influencing his judgement". Still retarded. Not as retarded as Oyun though.

>>724939241The main issue is that all the problems he encounters are typically frontloaded and he has to explain tons of things at the start that need to be explained for context, otherwise he's going to be randomly stopping in the middle of basic things to explain how stuff works. Him listing what stats do can be argued as padding, but at the same time him explaining what can be used and what can't is also important for a run where half the stats aren't going to be used, will barely contribute, or can't contribute outside of glitches.Once he gets past the frontloaded part then he focuses on the main issues presented in the run while giving a humorous summary of the story. I can get where you're coming from because the videos truly are frontloaded, and in FF4's case he has two separate playthroughs he's jumping back and forth between, but I would argue the way he uses them are necessary to at least get the information you need across. That example with the boss in FF4 he needed Reflect for and the comparison between the magic run and the no magic run is a good example of "Padding without padding" because it presents all the issues, how he overcame them, and then how he will have to properly overcome them since he was just showing you the general strategy.
